We're delighted to confirm that pay-to-play at Deepdale is back again this year!
Taking place over two nights, Tuesday 30th April and Thursday 2nd May, local children aged five to 11-years-old will have the opportunity to play on the hallowed turf at Deepdale. This is the perfect opportunity for your child to follow in their hero's footsteps and take to the pitch at Deepdale and for you to see the smile on their face as they score a goal.
Entry is from 5pm for a 5.30pm start and the on-the-pitch action will run until 7.30pm. Upon arrival at Deepdale, participants and spectators are required to register at the Sir Tom Finney reception before entering the stadium via door SX08, located where the Sir Tom Finney Family Stand and the Alan Kelly Town End meet.
The evening will include a one-hour coaching carousel plus a one hour small sided football game, with players split into two groups of five to seven-year-olds and eight to 11-year-olds.
All children attending should bring football boots, shin pads, appropriate clothing for outdoor facilities, enough water and fluids for the evening and should also turn up in kit, as there will be no changing facilities available at the stadium. Spectators are advised to bring their own refreshments on the night.
All proceeds from the event will go to PNECET and help them to continue enhacing lives and our communities.
